聖ラファエルのメダイが付いた、イタリア製のお祈りカード。絵柄は、旧約聖書外典の「トビト書」に書かれている、トビアスと守護天使ラファエルの冒険譚をモチーフにしたものと思われます。カードはラミネートされているので、携帯に便利です。カードの裏面には、聖ラファエルへのお祈りの言葉がプリントされています。ラファエル（Archangel Raphael）は、ガブリエル、ミカエル、ウリエルとともに4大天使の1人で、名前は「神は癒す」の意味で、その名の通り、人を癒すことを役割とし、医者や看護婦、目の見えない人の守護者とされます。また、人類の保護、特に若者や巡礼者の保護もラファエルの役割であり、若者、巡礼者、旅人の守護者ともされます。旧約外伝の「トビト書」にある、トビアスのエピソードが、それを語っています。それゆえ、水筒のついた杖や小箱持つ旅人の姿でよく描かれます。記念日はガブリエル、ミカエルと共に9月29日です。 裏面のお祈りの言葉： TO ST.
